The Haka Party Incident
The Haka Party Incident is large scale verbatim theatre piece that resurrects a significant historical moment in race relations in Aotearoa/New Zealand. In 1979, a group of young Māori and Pasifika activists confronted a group of University of Auckland engineering students as they rehearsed their ‘mock’ haka.
